I dislike the situation the world is in right now. While it is great for network marketers like me, it means that a lot of people are suffering. Even worse is the fact that many of the people who are suffering are no longer looking to improve their lives.
If you look at the statistics, drug abuse is on the rise, and so is the number of alcoholics. Many are just giving up, and are finding ways to forget about their situation. I know people in my neighborhood who have difficulty paying their rent, but they always have beer and pot at their disposal.
Illegal drug trade always grows during tough times, because more people have nothing to lose, so they deal in order to keep money coming into their homes.
How Can You Help?
One way you can make a difference is to dialog with as many people as you can possibly reach. Let them know that you have the answer to their problems, but that they are going to have to work for the solution. Never promise them a hand out.
The Internet has helped equalize the marketplace for people who are struggling. You can now reach fortune 500 CEOs just as easily as you can reach your neighbor down the street. You can’t go rushing around throwing brochures and business cards around, but you can develop relationships that you can help steer towards your business opportunity.
When I was approached about Salu by one of my good friends, he actually did not offer me the business until after he had talked to me a few times.
